Get ready for the week in Exeter-Grand Bend!

TODAY

  • Outdoor Yoga at the Lighthouse @ 10:00 am – 11:00 am. Find us at Lighthouse park for our daytime classes. we offer a summer pass for those that would like to attend regularly. Or drop in for just $10. Lighthouse Park
  • EarlyON – Vanastra Outdoor Play & Learn @ 10:00 am – 11:30 am. Vanastra Outdoor Play & Learn. Vanastra Connection Centre located within the Vanastra Community Christian Reform Church at 50 Fifth Avenue, Vanastra. We will be located behind the building on the West side near the park. Rain Location will be in the Gym (come in the front doors, turn left, down the hall at the end). For Parents/Caregivers with children 0-6 years. Connect with other families and EarlyON Facilitators, engage in play-based activities, gross motor/active play, sing interactive songs, ask questions & chat about topics of interest to parents/caregivers.   • Creative Kids! – Goderich Branch @ 11:00 am – 12:00 pm. Join us on Mondays at the Goderich Branch for a variety of creative kids programming throughout the summer!   • Virtual Reality Free Play – Goderich @ 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm. Discover the Huron County Library’s exciting new Virtual Reality headset by booking a session at the Goderich Branch today! Participants can dive into the action with games like Beat Saber, explore the globe through immersive travel experiences, enjoy a relaxing round of mini golf, meditate in serene virtual environments, and so much more! AGES: 13+ REGISTRATION: Please contact the Goderich Branch to book your one-hour VR experience! Email goderichlibrary@huroncounty.ca or by phone 519-524-9261. A signed waiver is required before using the VR headset. Participants under 16 years require a signed waiver from their parent/guardian. Waiver forms are available at the library.
  • LGBTQ2S+ Youth Social Connections – Goderich Branch @ 5:00 pm – 6:00 pm. LGBTQ2S+ Youth Social Connections is a community-led program for youth ages 16-25 held the last Monday of each month at the Goderich Branch. This is a great opportunity to have fun with peers, to meet new friends and to engage in discussions around topics that could include sexuality, identity, homophobia, and personal experiences. REGISTRATION: Drop-ins are always welcome, but pizza is served at this program, so pre-registration is encouraged to ensure enough food is ordered each month.   • Blyth Book Club @ 5:45 pm – 6:45 pm. Free. Join us at the Blyth Branch for a casual monthly discussion of a specific book  Are adults are welcome to join the club, which runs the fourth Monday of each month.   • EarlyON – Seaforth @ 10:00 am – 11:30 am. Free. Join us indoors at Northside United Church – 54 Goderich St. W, Seaforth. Enter the parking lot off of Church Street. Watch for our EarlyON sign closest to the door that you’ll enter.  If the door is locked, ring the doorbell to the upper right of the door. For Parents/Caregivers with children 0-6 years. Register to join us to connect with other families and EarlyON Facilitators, engage in play-based activities, sing interactive songs and chat about topics of interest to parents.   • Police Storytime – Goderich @ 10:30 am – 11:00 am. Meet a local OPP Officer at the Goderich Branch as they read us a story and share about being a police officer. Registration Required. Goderich Library
  • Knitting Group – Bayfield Branch @ 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm. Knit, relax and meet fellow knitters each week at the Bayfield Branch. All are welcome to drop into this free program to knit together and share tips and tricks. Please note this program is community-led.
  • Lego Free Play – Goderich @ 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm. Drop into the Goderich Branch Thursday afternoons to create with LEGO! This is a drop-in program no registration is necessary.
  • Play & Connect – EarlyOn Program – Seaforth @ 3:00 pm – 4:30 pm. Free. Chat with an Huron EarlyON Facilitator and ask questions about parenting, your child’s development, and learn about other resources in your community! REGISTRATION: Register online through www.KEyON.ca
  • Card Night – Blyth @ 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm. Free. Drop into the Blyth Branch each Thursday for an evening of cards. Play a familiar game of cards, or learn a new one, and have some fun at the library!
