Toronto Driver Charged with Impaired Driving in Goderich
On August 3rd, around 9:00 p.m., Huron County OPP stopped a car in Goderich for a traffic violation. They found the driver, a 65 year old, from Toronto, had been drinking. The officer decided the driver was impaired and arrested him.
The driver was taken to the OPP station, where breath tests showed alcohol levels over the legal limit. He faces charges for impaired driving due to alcohol and drugs and driving with a blood alcohol level over 80.
His vehicle was towed and impounded for seven days, and his driver’s license was suspended for 90 days.
