The third Lissencephaly Awareness event in Exeter will help raise funds for a local family and the Children’s Health Foundation.
Lissencephaly is a rare brain disorder, also called “smooth brain”. It can cause seizures, trouble swallowing, muscle spasms, and developmental delays, with no known cure.
Half of the funds raised will help the Miller family install ceiling track lifts in their home, while the other half will go to the Children’s Health Foundation.
