The St. Clair Region Conservation Authority (SCRCA) is hosting the Ipperwash Beach Cleanup on Saturday, September 7th, from 9 am to 11 am. Now in its 12th year, this “end of summer” cleanup invites volunteers of all ages to gather at the Centre Ipperwash Beach Boat Launch (end of Ipperwash Road) for a post-summer garbage cleanup.
Participants are reminded to come prepared for walking on sand and road surfaces, wear close-toed shoes, and bring a refillable water bottle. Bags, snacks, gloves, and sanitizer will be provided. High school students seeking volunteer hours can receive confirmation of their participation from SCRCA staff.
For more information or to RSVP, contact Lisa McNeill, Agricultural Stewardship Technician, at lmcneill@scrca.on.ca or 519-617-1924.
This event is supported by the Ontario Ministry of Environment, Conservation, and Parks (MECP)
