On Saturday, September 21st, Huron Hospice will host its “No Place Like Home” Farm to Fork fundraising dinner and auction at the Holmesville Community Centre, with a special twist!
Manager of Fund Development, Christopher Walker explains the event.
First started in 2020 during the pandemic, this event has grown into the main fundraiser for the hospice.
This year, the dinner, prepared by Part II Bistro of Goderich, will focus on local foods and feature wine and beer tastings, a raffle, and an auction of locally-themed items. Special guests, Alecia Anderson and Ben Lobb, will serve as co-emcees and lead the auction.
Tickets are $150 each or $1,200 for a table of eight, with complimentary shuttle service available. Funds raised will support Huron Hospice’s free care services, which last year helped 72 people at Bender House and provided nearly 700 home visits to local families.
Tickets must be purchased by September 16th.
