TODAY

  • GODERICH: Fall Festival @ 11:00 am – 3:00 pm. Join us for a day of fun at our Fall Festival! Enjoy live entertainment, food, refreshments, and photo sessions. Monday, September 16th 11 am – 3 pm
  • Virtual Reality Free Play – Goderich @ 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm. Discover the Huron County Library’s exciting new Virtual Reality headset by booking a session at the Goderich Branch today! Participants can dive into the action with games like Beat Saber, explore the globe through immersive travel experiences, enjoy a relaxing round of mini golf, meditate in serene virtual environments, and so much more! AGES: 13+ REGISTRATION: Please contact the Goderich Branch to book your one-hour VR experience! Email goderichlibrary@huroncounty.ca or by phone 519-524-9261. A signed waiver is required before using the VR headset. Participants under 16 years require a signed waiver from their parent/guardian. Waiver forms are available at the library.
  • Craft & Chat – Wingham @ 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm. Drop into the Alice Munro Branch in Wingham to work on your crafting projects as you enjoy social time with others. This is a Drop in program that doesn’t require registration
  • Tech Time – Seaforth @ 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm. Book a 30-minute session at the Seaforth Branch  to get your technology questions answered. REGISTRATION: Please contact the Seaforth Branch by email seaforthlibrary@huroncounty.ca or by phone 519-527-1430 to register.
  • Blyth Book Club @ 5:45 pm – 6:45 pm. Join us at the Blyth Branch for a roundtable talk about books.  This group is community-led and facilitated by group members. Please contact the Blyth Branch by email blythlibrary@huroncounty.ca or by phone 519-523-4400 to register.
  • Crafters Circle – Blyth @ 5:45 pm – 6:45 pm. Drop into the Blyth Branch Monday evenings for Crafters Circle, a free program that invites local crafters to get together for an hour to work on projects. Bring along your hand-held or lap projects and your love of making for this casual drop-in program.
  • English Conversation Circle – Goderich @ 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm. Join us at Goderich Branch  for our English Conversation Circles. Conversation Circles are a great opportunity to practice English speaking skills and make new connections, while talking, listening, learning, and laughing about life in Canada. This program is provided in partnership with Huron County Immigration Partnership. This is a drop-in program – no registration is necessary.
  • Love on Tap: A Romance Novel Book Club – Goderich @ 6:30 pm – 7:30 pm. Calling all romance readers! Join fellow enthusiasts to discuss captivating plots, swoon-worthy characters, and unforgettable moments at the Goderich Branch‘s new Love on Tap: Romance Novel Book Club! The Club meets the 3rd Monday of the month, 6:30 p.m. at Paddy O’Neils Restaurant & Pub on the Square (92 Courthouse Square).   • Baby & Me – EarlyOn Program @ 1:30 pm – 2:30 pm. Seaforth Public Library (upstairs- elevator available)- 108 Main St. South. For Parents/Caregivers and infants 0-12 months of age. Join us to connect with other families and EarlyON Facilitators, sing interactive songs, and chat about topics of interest to parents with young infants.

  • Drop-in Kids Chess Club – Exeter @ 3:30 pm – 4:30 pm. Drop into the Exeter Branch on Tuesdays for our Chess Club! Whether you are a Grandmaster or just learning the game of kings, you are welcome! This is a drop-in program no registration is necessary.
  • Caregiver Wellness Retreat @ 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm Are you a Huron County parent/caregiver of a child with a disability, autism, or mental health concerns? We are here with Huron Respite Network to bring you some well-deserved wellness and relaxation! Join us on Tuesday, September 17 from 6:00-9:00 PM at Community Living-Central Huron for an evening of self care, refreshments, and food with local wellness practitioners offering rejuvenating workshops and connection.
