On August 31st around 6:20 p.m., police received several reports from people about someone riding a personal watercraft (PWC) near the shore of Lake Huron in Lambton Shores.
Lambton County OPP and Anishinabek Police Service (APS) responded to the incident near East Parkway Drive in Lambton Shores. The police found the PWC operator.
After investigating, a 48-year-old of London was charged with dangerous operation under the Criminal Code.
Lambton County OPP reminds all watercraft operators to follow water safety rules and operate their vessels safely. Unsafe behavior on the water puts both the operator and others at risk.
