Join Huron EarlyON on Friday mornings at the Brussels Branch for free programs designed for parents/caregivers and children from birth to six years old. Enjoy age-appropriate activities, discover answers to questions on child development, find information about programs and services that are available for young children and families in their area, and talk to EarlyON Professionals, as well as other parents and caregivers in the community. - Virtual Reality Free Play – Goderich @ 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm Discover the Huron County Library’s exciting new Virtual Reality headset by booking a session at the Goderich Branch today! Participants can dive into the action with games like Beat Saber, explore the globe through immersive travel experiences, enjoy a relaxing round of mini golf, meditate in serene virtual environments, and so much more! - Tech Time – Wingham @ 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm. The Alice Munro Branch, Wingham, hosts Tech Time each Friday afternoon. Book a 30-minute session to receive one-on-one help with library e-resources, your device, and/or your email account. Lessons are limited to the technical knowledge of library staff. Hardware issues or highly specific questions may require the assistance of qualified computer service technicians. Registration Required. - Maitland Trail ‘El Camino’ Hike $35 – $45 El Camino Maitland (El Camino del Sinuoso Rio Maitland) is a 2-day hike along the entire Maitland Trail on September 21 & 22. 2024. The Camino will mostly follow the whole Maitland Trail from the trail head near Auburn to Goderich. With the Camino detours, the trail is almost 50.6 km. There are options to hike shorter distances (Saturday – 16 km or 11 km; Sunday – 13 km). Registration goes live on Saturday, May 18, 2024. Registration includes shuttles, trail maps, checkpoints, and more!

- Harvest Fest 2024 @ 11:00 am – 4:00 pm. Harvest Fest is coming to Clinton on September 21. The one-day fall festival in downtown Clinton includes activities for all ages. Bring the kids out for a day of bouncy castles, face painting, rock climbing, and more. Check out the classic car show, see what local vendors are selling at the craft market, and enjoy live music. - beyond ana – opening celebration @ 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm. All are welcome to the Museum to celebrate the opening of the exhibit beyond ana on Saturday, Sept. 21. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. with opening remarks at 7 p.m. in the Museum theatre before the exhibit viewing. beyond ana is a new art exhibit by Blyth artist Kelly Stevenson and serves as both a tribute to a voice lost before its time and a catalyst to start conversations.
