The Ontario Clean Water Agency will flush the watermains in Bluewater from September to November, Monday to Friday.
The work will happen in stages: Hensall from September 30 to October 4, Zurich from October 7 to 11, the Bluewater Lakefront system from October 14 to 25, Bayfield from October 21 to November 1, and Varna on November 21.
You might see discolored water or changes in water pressure during this period. If so, remove tap aerators and run cold water until clear, and flush your hot water tank to prevent iron buildup.
