The Major Crime Unit of the Huron County Ontario Provincial Police is looking into a serious assault and robbery that happened on Minnie Street in Wingham on Saturday, October 5th.
At around 7:30 p.m. on that day, police found an adult victim in Wingham who reported being assaulted. After investigating the incident, officers have arrested two people.
A 29 year old of North Huron, has been charged with aggravated assault and robbery with violence.
A 24 year old of North Huron, has been charged with aggravated assault, robbery with violence, and obstructing a peace officer.
