Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged a 32-year-old from the Paisley area with impaired driving after a single-vehicle crash on October 6th, in Central Huron.
Just after 6:30 p.m. that Sunday, police responded to a report of a vehicle tipped on its side in a ditch on Bayfield Road near Airport Line, with the driver still inside. The driver was found and arrested for impaired driving but was not hurt.
The driver was taken to the OPP detachment in Clinton to provide breath samples, which were found to be over the legal alcohol limit.
In addition to the impaired driving charge, the driver was also charged with careless driving and operating a vehicle without a permit.
