Lambton County Museums and the Lambton County Library are holding a Best of Show & Tell event on Wednesday, October 9, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Sarnia Library Theatre. This event is part of the celebration for Lambton County’s 175th Anniversary and will highlight local history discoveries from 12 community Show & Tell events held over the summer.
During the Best of Show & Tell, attendees can watch clips, see images, and hear live commentary about the historical items and stories shared at the community events. These local history items, documents, and stories have been digitized, making them accessible for future generations to explore and enjoy Lambton County’s rich heritage.
The event will celebrate both the 175-year history of Lambton County and the community’s ongoing efforts to uncover, preserve, and share the region’s history. Additionally, the lobby of the Sarnia Library Theatre is currently featuring the Lambton 175 exhibit created by Lambton County Museums and Archives, which visitors can check out during the Best of Show & Tell.
