The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG) recently announced second-quarter payments to the City of Sarnia and the Municipality of Central Huron for hosting their respective Gateway Casinos.
Sarnia received $100,036 for the period from July 1st to September 30th, bringing its total to $208,837 for this fiscal year and over $27 million since 1999. Central Huron was awarded $175,483 for the same period, totaling $353,817 this year and over $14 million since 2000.
These payments support local infrastructure, community programs, and economic development.
