Lambton County is celebrating Local Government Week by having county councillors visit local libraries to participate in story time sessions for children. Warden Kevin Marriott and several councillors will read to kids during these popular library programs.
This gives families a chance to meet their local representatives while celebrating the valuable role that local government and library services play in the community. Libraries help promote early literacy, which is key to building healthier communities.
The councillor visits will take place at various libraries on different dates and times:
These story time sessions are free and open to everyone. For more information or to register, visit Events – Lambton County Library (libnet.info).
