Exciting news for local sports fans! Lambton Heritage Museum’s popular Hockey exhibition will feature a special display of the prestigious World U17 Challenge Cup from October 30th to November 1st. This exhibition, which began earlier this summer, celebrates hockey’s history and culture with interactive exhibits, hands-on activities, and rare artifacts. Created by the Canadian Museum of History, it also showcases local artifacts and stories from Lambton County, curated by Lambton Heritage Museum.
The addition of the World U17 Challenge Cup offers fans a rare chance to see the trophy up close. Plus, visitors to the exhibition from October 23rd to November 1st can enter a draw to win two tickets to the U17 tournament’s gold medal game.
The Lambton Heritage Museum is open Wednesday to Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., with extended hours until 8:30 p.m. on Thursdays. The Hockey exhibition ends on November 9th. Admission is free for Lambton County residents in celebration of Lambton’s 175th Anniversary; non-residents pay $5 for adults, $4 for seniors, and $3 for children ages 4-12.
