The Londesboro Lions Club is set to host its second well water testing event on Thursday, November 14.
Almost 50 private well owners attended a similar event in January, which was deemed a great success.
The Lions Club will distribute sampling bottles before the event and all people have to do is return them, as we hear from Elizabeth Balfour, the Co-Supervisor of the Water Source Protection Program.
Balfour says it’s also a great event to just get information.
Owners of private wells can return their water samples between 7 and 9 p.m. the evening of the 14th to the Lions Hall, at 282 Kings Road, in Londesborough…and their water will be tested for them.
