A special event focused on water safety was held in Londesborough on November 14th organized by the Londesboro and District Lions Club. With support from Huron County’s Huron Clean Water Project, the event aimed to help private well owners learn how to protect their water sources and provided a convenient opportunity for water testing.
More than 40 well owners attended the “Water Wise” event, bringing in 39 water samples for testing by Huron Perth Public Health. The initiative was an important step in promoting safe drinking water for families and communities in the area.
The success of the event was made possible through the efforts of the Lions Club, the funding provided by the Huron Clean Water Project, and the participation of local well owners. Testing and education like this contribute to maintaining clean, safe water for everyone in the community.
