Huron County OPP has charged a 46-year-old Huron East resident with impaired driving after a traffic stop in North Huron on November 21st.
Around 8:30 p.m., officers stopped a vehicle on London Road and determined the driver was impaired by alcohol. The driver was arrested and taken to the Huron OPP detachment in Clinton, where breath tests confirmed alcohol levels over the legal limit.
A 46 year old, of Huron East, has been charged with impaired operation involving alcohol and drugs, operating with blood alcohol levels over the legal limit, and driving while under suspension under the Highway Traffic Act.
The vehicle was impounded for seven days, and his driver’s license was suspended for 90 days.
