It is one of the biggest shopping events of the year, and the police want to make sure it’s one to celebrate and not one with regrets.
On Black Friday, going into the weekend, people will be out shopping store to store getting the best deals.
Constable Andrew Gamble says this is common knowledge – especially to thieves.
If you can’t make a pit stop at home to drop off items, at the very least, Gamble says they should be stored away in the trunk and not visible to people walking by.
He is also asking people to be safe and have a game plan as well.
If you are shopping this weekend, you know it will be busy.
He stresses if you see anything suspicious, do not hesitate to contact the police.
