Huron County OPP has charged a 19-year-old from Mississauga after a truck was stolen in Goderich on January 4, 2025.
Around 6:20 a.m., the truck owner reported their 2024 Toyota Tundra had been taken from their driveway on South Street. Officers spotted the stolen truck heading east on Huron Road and used tire deflation devices to stop it by deflating the front tires.
The driver was arrested without any problems. The individual faces charges of Theft Over $5,000 and Flight from a Peace Officer. Additional charges under the Highway Traffic Act include failing to stop at a stop sign and driving without a license.
