On January 9th Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) started investigating a historical sexual assault reported to have happened between 2018 and 2021 in Lambton County.
The Lambton County OPP Crime Unit took over the investigation.
As a result of the investigation, a 67-year-old from the Municipality of Lambton Shores has been arrested and charged with Two counts of sexual assault on a person under 16, Voyeurism, and Indecent exposure to a person under 16.
The accused was initially held in custody for a bail hearing but has since been released. They are set to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Sarnia.
