On January 21st, the Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) investigated an incident involving intimate partners in the Municipality of Bluewater.
During the investigation, police found that the suspect had allegedly committed multiple criminal acts against their partner. Officers arrested a 26-year-old from Bluewater and charged them with assault, assault with a weapon, mischief under $5,000, and dangerous operation. The accused was processed and held for a bail hearing before being released. They are scheduled to appear in court in Goderich on February 24, 2025.
