Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged a man from Huron County after damage was done to a bank’s ATM area in Goderich in January.
On January 31st, bank staff called the police to report that someone had damaged the ATM area the day before. Officers identified the suspect but were unable to find them at that time.
On February 8th, police located and arrested the suspect.
A 42-year-old, who has no fixed address, has been charged with mischief under $5,000, damaging property to make it unsafe or unusable, and failing to follow a probation order.
The accused was taken into custody and held for a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Goderich.
