Huron Perth Public Health (HPPH) is looking for a dog involved in an incident that occurred in Stratford on Wednesday, February 19, between 3 and 4 p.m. near the intersection of St. David St. and Church St., close to the railway tracks.
The dog is described as large, all black, and resembling a German shepherd. It was being walked by a woman wearing a bright red hat and talking on her phone.
HPPH is investigating to confirm the dog’s rabies vaccination status. The health unit reminds residents to always exchange contact information with pet owners in case of an incident.
