Just six per cent of eligible voters in Ontario cast their ballot over three days of advance voting in the upcoming provincial election.
Figures released by Elections Ontario on Monday show that almost 679,000 voters marked ballots at advance polls on Feb. 20th to 22nd, representing 6.14 per cent of eligible voters.
The numbers are down from the 2022 provincial election when 9.92 per cent of those eligible voted early over 10 days.
The numbers in Huron-Bruce were actually pretty good. Elections Ontario says 8965 people voted in Advance Polls, which is 10.2 percent….MUCH BETTER than the provincial average.
Perth-Wellington was decent as well, at 9.53 percent of eligible voters while Lambton-Kent-Middlesex was only at just 5.3 percent.
