The Goderich Legion Branch 109 will be closed from Sunday, March 2nd, to Friday, March 7th, due to unexpected but necessary renovations. This closure affects the Jubilee Room, main floor, and bar area to ensure a safer and improved space for members and the community.
Several regular events, including Bingo, Euchre, Jammers Night, Darts, and Cribbage, will be postponed. However, the Member’s Meeting on March 5th will still take place in the lower lounge, and Catch the Ace on March 7th will go ahead as scheduled.
The Legion acknowledges that this renovation was unplanned and unfunded, and they will seek financial help from the community to continue supporting local veterans and residents.
