The blood moon, total lunar eclipse is tonight…and very early tomorrow morning…the first visible from Ontario in nearly three years.
Over a period of hours, the full moon will appear to be swallowed by shadow before turning blood red in the night sky.
Totality, or the period where the moon is completely obscured and turns a coppery red, will start around 2:30am tomorrow.
Unlike last year’s total solar eclipse, you don’t need any special equipment to view a lunar eclipse.
