Huron County OPP have laid multiple charges against a 59-year-old man after a break-in at the Goderich YMCA early Monday morning.
Police say that around 12:20 a.m. on March 10, a small car repeatedly rammed the front doors of the Suncoast Drive East facility.
After several attempts, the driver broke through and entered the building, trying to access various areas before fleeing in the same vehicle.
The suspect was identified by police and was arrested later that same morning. Philip Reed, 59, of no fixed address, has been charged with:
- Break and Enter
- Mischief Under $5,000
- Dangerous Operation
- Failure to Stop After Accident
Reed was processed and released with a court appearance scheduled for April 14th.
