A fun-filled fundraiser is coming to Zurich, as Bowl for Kids’ Sake returns to support Big Brothers Big Sisters of South Huron. The event will take place on March 21st, 22nd, and 23rd at Town and Country Bowling Lanes and aims to raise $20,000 for mentoring programs in the community.
Angie Steckle, Fund Development Coordinator says participants can form teams, collect pledges, and enjoy a night of bowling, prizes, and mini-games.
The event makes its way back to the community year after year, and Steckle told myFM why it is always so popluar.
Throughout the event, there will be door prizes donated by local businesses, as well as mini-games where bowlers can win prizes for completing fun challenges, such as bowling with their non-dominant hand. Music and an upbeat atmosphere will keep the energy high.
Businesses also have the opportunity to get involved. Dawn Flight Realty and Jolt Fitness are each hosting their own bowling nights, filling all six lanes with teams.
Registration is flexible, with no strict deadline accroding to Steckle explains. Interested participants can contact her to sign up and receive pledge forms, either in paper format or through an online platform.
