A driver from Bluewater has been charged with impaired driving after being stopped at a police RIDE check in Central Huron.
Huron County OPP say the stop happened just after midnight on Sunday, April 20th, north of Bayfield. Officers were running a RIDE check when they pulled over a vehicle.
After speaking with the driver, police arrested them on suspicion of impaired driving and brought them to the OPP detachment in Clinton. There, the driver gave breath samples that showed they had more than twice the legal limit of alcohol in their system.
A 37 year old from Bluewater, has been charged with driving while impaired with a blood alcohol level over the legal limit.
