A single-vehicle collision in Lucan has resulted in multiple criminal charges after a pickup truck towing a trailer struck a hydro pole and two suspects fled the scene. On July 6th, OPP responded to the crash on Main Street in Lucan. Witnesses reported that two individuals ran from the vehicle following the collision. One suspect was found nearby and taken into custody.
The second individual remains outstanding. Further investigation revealed that the pickup truck, trailer, and contents including a snowmobile and an All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV) were all reported stolen. A 43-year-old of Woodstock, has been charged, was held for bail, and the investigation remains ongoing.
