Huron Perth Public Health (HPPH) is notifying the public of a confirmed measles exposure at St. Marys Memorial Hospital – Emergency Department on Monday, July 14th between 8:55 a.m. and 11:35 a.m. Anyone who visited the Emergency Department during this timeframe should monitor for measles symptoms—such as fever, cough, and rash—for 21 days following the exposure.
If you or a family member were present and meet either of the following conditions: Born in or after 1970 and have not received two doses of a measles-containing vaccine, or are at higher risk (e.g., pregnant, immunocompromised, or under 12 months old), please complete the self-assessment tool on our website.
