Seaforth’s annual Summerfest is back on Saturday, August 2nd, and this year it’s part of the town’s big Homecoming 2025 celebration.
Shannon Craig, Director of the Seaforth BIA, says Summerfest is a long-standing tradition hosted by the BIA.
The event runs from noon to 5 p.m., with part of Main Street closed to allow for fun!
Craig says Summerfest has been going strong for many years, and moving it from Friday to Saturday a few years ago helped boost attendance. She says events like this are important because they give families a chance to celebrate small-town life together and they’re free and welcoming to everyone.
This year, Summerfest has been added to the schedule for Homecoming 2025, which marks Seaforth’s 150th anniversary.
Summerfest is a rain-or-shine event, and organizers are hopeful for the same good weather they’ve had in recent years.
