Craigwiel Gardens reached an exciting milestone in its building project last Wednesday with a special beam signing event. Residents, staff, donors, Board members, local leaders, and politicians all came together to celebrate.
The $38.5 million project will replace the current Craigholme long-term care home with a modern two-storey building. The new facility will have 96 beds, up from the current 83, and is expected to open in September 2026. Construction is on schedule and within budget.
The event also marked the 75th anniversary of Craigwiel Gardens. A signed beam will serve as a reminder of the home’s legacy and bright future.
