The Township of Lucan Biddulph has received more than $17.6 million from the Province of Ontario to help expand and modernize its wastewater treatment plant.
The funding comes through the Municipal Housing and Infrastructure Program and will allow the township to complete major system upgrades while increasing treatment capacity to keep up with the community’s rapid growth.
Construction on the expansion is scheduled to begin in early 2026 and finish in 2027.
More details are available on the Township of Lucan Biddulph’s website.
