Bayfield’s Main Street Arts Festival is back this year with even more to enjoy.
Allie Brenner, Cultural Development Officer for Huron County, said the weekend will highlight the many ways people can enjoy and take part in the arts.
The festival begins Friday evening with an artist talk.
On Saturday, the Huron County Library Exeter Branch will host various creative programs.
The main event happens Sunday, September 21, from noon to 5 p.m., when Bayfield closes Main Street.
A highlight will be Cesar Cordova’s kinetic puppets, including a giant bird and bike-powered creations that will appear in the Procession of the Species at 4 p.m.
The festival is free to attend. Most Sunday activities are drop-in, while Friday and Saturday workshops require advance registration. Full details can be found on the Huron County Cultural Office website and social media pages.
