United Way Perth-Huron (UWPH) is inviting the community to a special celebration in Exeter as it launches its 2025 fundraising campaign and opens the brand-new Exeter Access Centre.
The event takes place Thursday, September 25th, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 379 Main Street. Local dignitaries will speak at 12:30 p.m., including representatives from the Municipality of South Huron, UWPH Executive Director Ryan Erb, Shannon McGavin from The Well Youth Hub, and Kristian Wilson from the Children’s Aid Society.
The open house will include a BBQ lunch by donation, prepared by staff from Libro Credit Union, with food contributions from Foodland Exeter, Hansen’s Your Independent Grocer, and Sobeys Grand Bend. Guests will also be able to tour the new centre and learn about the services it will provide, along with UWPH’s 2025 campaign goal.
The Exeter Access Centre is modeled after the successful Vanastra Access Centre, which has made services more accessible for local residents. The new site aims to offer the same broad support to the Exeter area through United Way and its partners.
