Big Brothers Big Sisters of South Huron is keeping a popular community event alive with its upcoming quarter auction. Angie Steckle, Fund Development Coordinator, says the organization is excited to take over the event, which has long been a favourite in the area.
The auction will be held on Thursday, October 9, with doors opening at 6 p.m. and the auction starting at 7 p.m. The Optimist Club will host a cash bar with snacks and drinks available for purchase.
Fifteen local vendors will take part, each bringing three items.
Steckle noted the funds raised will be going different places during different rounds.
Tickets to the Quarter Auction must be purchased in advance.
