It’s Crabby Joe’s game day. The Exeter Hawks face off against Port Stanley tonight at 8pm at the South Huron Recreation Centre in Exeter.
Exeter Hawks left winger Harrison Meulensteen is looking forward to a strong season with the team. Meulensteen told myFM his hockey journey began early on.
This year, Meulensteen is playing left wing alongside center Carter Bowerman and can also step in as center when needed.
Meulensteen says he enjoys the teamwork and chemistry with his line mates and the wider group.
Playing alongside his brother Henry has been a highlight, with Meulensteen describing his sibling’s first game as an emotional moment for their family.
As assistant captain this season, Meulensteen is proud of the leadership role.
He also emphasizes the importance of fans to the team’s success.
Looking ahead to tonight’s game, Meulensteen encourages fans to come out and support the Hawks.
Go tonight and cheer on your hometown Hawks! Come before or after the game and fuel up at Crabby Joe’s in Exeter.
