The community is coming together once again for the fourth annual Stuff-A-Truck Cram-A-Cruiser Food and Toy Drive, happening this weekend from 10am to 4pm at the No Frills parking lot in Grand Bend.
The event, which began in 2022, is organized by Dani Rahn, owner at Dani and Matt’s No Frills in Grand Bend and one of the workers Tawynia Kungl, along with the Lambton Shores OPP and local fire department. According to Dani, the goal is simple.
Tawynia told myFM how the event first got started.
Dani says it was important for No Frills to get involved and host an event like this.
All donations going to Blessings Food Bank Huron Shores Food Pantry Grand Bend and Area Community Health Centre. Volunteers from each group will be on-site to help collect and organize items throughout the day. Tawynia says its not just residents of Grand Bend that benefit from this event.
Organizers ask that all donated clothing and toys be new. Both perishable and non-perishable food items, as well as gift cards, are welcome.
Residents are encouraged to stop by, make a donation, and help spread holiday cheer.
