The Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Crime Unit is investigating a reported sexual assault that occurred in the Town of Goderich on November 2, 2025. Police say the incident happened between 12:25 p.m. and 1:35 p.m. on MacEwan Street, just south of Suncoast Drive East. Following the report, officers began an extensive investigation, including a canvass of the surrounding area.
The suspect is described as a Caucasian male, approximately 60 years old, 5’4” tall, with a medium build, clean-shaven, and wearing a hat, denim jacket, and jeans. Investigators have also released information about a vehicle believed to be connected to the incident. It is described as a black 2014–2018 GMC Sierra 1500 pickup truck with four doors (quad cab), running boards, mud flaps, chrome bumpers, and steel rims.
Police continue to investigate and are urging anyone with information or dashcam footage from the area to contact the Huron County OPP.
