Santa Claus is coming to town on November 15th for the Exeter Santa Claus Parade, bringing the community together to kick off the holiday season.
Caroline Hill, Business Manager for the Exeter BIA, told myFM about this years parade.
The theme for 2025 is “Santa’s Village.”
Participants are asked to register in advance through social media posts on the Experience Exeter Facebook and Instagram pages. Registered participants will receive details on gathering points and float guidelines.
Last year, the parade featured 60 floats, with hopes to match or exceed that this year.
Hill shared a few reminders for parade-goers.
As the parade takes place at night, organizers encourage lights on floats, and hot chocolate and treats will be available from the Legion and Uptown Sweets along the route.
The parade has long been a tradition in Exeter, serving as a festive way to start the holiday season.
For those unable to attend in person, the parade will be live-streamed on the Experience Exeter Facebook page, allowing everyone to join in the fun from home.
Admission is free, and the community is encouraged to come out and enjoy the festivities, see Santa, and celebrate the start of the Christmas season.
