Exeter is getting ready to welcome Santa this weekend, and a section of Main Street will be closed to make room for the big parade. With around 60 entries expected—including floats, horses, and brightly lit displays—the parade will help kick off the holiday season.
Main Street from Waterloo Street to Wellington Street will close at about 5:30 p.m. The parade will begin at 6 p.m., starting on Huron Street and moving toward Victoria Street.
The road is expected to reopen around 7:15 p.m.
Local businesses are asked to remind patrons about the closure as they leave.
