TODAY: EarlyON – Brussels 9:30 am – 12:00 pm Join us for a variety of activities to enhance all areas of your child’s development, connect with our staff and other families, and end the group with a circle time of songs and a story. Pre-registration on www.keyon.ca for Huron EarlyON programs is no longer required, yet still recommended. EarlyON programs will admit participants until capacity levels are reached. TODAY: Wild Ontario: Meet Wild Birds! November 21 @ 11:00 am – 12:00 pm Get wild this PA day at the Huron County Museum (110 North St., Goderich) Based at the University of Guelph, Wild Ontario uses live birds-of-prey to teach about science and nature. In this one-hour program you’ll have the opportunity to learn about some of Ontario’s most incredible hunters, and to meet the birds up close. A face-to-face encounter with a hawk or owl is something you will never forget! This program is great for all ages. TOMORROW: Community Badminton Tournament That You Won’t Want To Miss! Get ready to serve, smash, and most importantly, have fun! The South Huron District High School Interact Club is hosting a community-wide badminton tournament open to everyone. Whether you’re a seasoned player, looking to try something new, or just want to come and watch some great matches, all are welcome to join. The tournament takes place at 10:00am until 1:30pm on November 22nd in the large gym of South Huron District High School. To register, email mercedesprout@gmail.com. The registration fee is $5 per person paid at the door, and it’s free to come and watch. Equipment will be provided, but feel free to bring your own racket. Baked goods, snacks, and drinks available to purchase. Raffle tickets will be sold for the chance to win some awesome prizes. All proceeds will support Jessica’s House, a local hospice that provides compassionate end-of-life care and grief support for both adults and children. So grab your racket, bring your friends, and come join us for an afternoon of fun, friendly competition, and community spirit!
