The Lambton Heritage Museum is inviting families to their annual Holiday Open Houses on Friday, November 21st, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Visitors can get into the holiday spirit and learn about early holiday traditions in Lambton County through festive crafts, costumed interpreters, and seasonal activities.
At the Lambton Heritage Museum in Grand Bend, guests can enjoy the cozy charm of historic buildings warmed by wood-burning stoves. Visitors can sip a cup of wassail—a warm apple cider drink—make a Christmas cracker in the Rokeby School, and hear stories about early settler holidays in the Tudhop House. A festive hayride around the museum grounds will also be offered.
These are drop-in events, and regular museum admission applies. Visitors are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items to support local food banks. Food donations will be accepted instead of admission fees.
