The Norfolk County OPP is asking for the public’s help after two shoplifting incidents at the same Simcoe business.
On Monday, November 24, officers were called to a store on Cedar Street around 8:12 p.m. for a report of stolen alcohol. Police say an unidentified man entered the business shortly before 5 p.m., hid alcohol, and left without paying.
The suspect is described as Caucasian, with brown facial hair, and wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and black jacket. Investigators believe the same person was involved in a similar theft at the store around 10:30 a.m. on Friday, November 14.
A photo of the individual has been provided to help identify him.
The OPP says the investigation is ongoing and is urging anyone with information to contact the Norfolk County detachment. Anonymous tips can also be shared through Crime Stoppers.
