The South Huron community is getting ready for a new holiday fundraiser called Pasta Puck Night. The event is a spaghetti dinner organized by parents and coaches from the U16 and U18 South Huron Minor Hockey teams.
Parent, Chris Fedorko told myFM about the event.
This is the first year for the event.
There are no tickets required to attend. Instead, families are asked to bring a monetary donation or a non-perishable food item. All money collected will be donated to Jessica’s House, and all food items will go to the local food bank.
Families are also encouraged to bring any gently used winter clothing, which will be passed along to people who need it.
The event will include fun Reindeer Games, with donated prizes and gift baskets.
There are no age restrictions, and everyone is welcome.
Starting at 4 p.m., the South Huron Sabres will take to the ice. Organizers say it will be great hockey to watch and another reason for families to come out and enjoy the day.
