Huron County OPP say an investigation in the Town of Goderich has led to charges and support being offered to those affected.
Police say officers responded to a situation involving intimate partners on December 7th. During the investigation, OPP learned that one person had allegedly committed several criminal acts against their partner.
A 33-year-old Goderich resident was arrested and charged with criminal harassment, mischief under $5,000, trespassing at night and three counts of failing to comply with a release order. The accused was held for a bail hearing and later released from custody. A future court date has been scheduled at the Ontario Court of Justice in Goderich.
