Hockey fans in Clinton have something exciting to look forward to.
The Goderich Flyers Jr. C Hockey Club has officially been approved by the Provincial Junior Hockey League (PJHL) to relocate to Clinton for the 2026–27 season. The move will bring competitive Junior C hockey to the community.
The team says Clinton was a natural fit. The town has a strong hockey history, great support for the Clinton Radars senior team, and excellent facilities at the Central Huron Community Centre. Organizers believe the move will help build a strong and lasting junior hockey program in Clinton for years to come.
The club also took time to thank the Goderich community. Fans, sponsors, volunteers, staff, and executives were recognized for their years of support and dedication to the Flyers. The team says that support helped build the foundation that made this next step possible.
More details about the team’s future, including its new identity and upcoming plans, are expected to be shared in the coming months. For now, excitement is already building as Clinton gets ready to welcome Junior C hockey back to town.
