A 36-year-old man from Ilderton has been charged with impaired driving following a traffic stop in Grand Bend.
On December 29th, just after 2:30 a.m., an officer from the Lambton County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) conducted a traffic stop on Lake Road during routine patrol.
The investigation has led to an arrest.
As part of the legal process, a 90-day Administrative Driver’s License Suspension (ADLS) and a seven-day vehicle impoundment were put in place.
The Lambton County OPP says it remains committed to keeping impaired drivers off the roads through both enforcement and public education. Drivers are reminded that no amount of alcohol or drugs is safe when driving. Anyone who suspects an impaired driver is asked to contact the OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
